Interested bidders are required to post a cash bond of Php10,000. As far as I know, this is refundable, unless the auction rules have changed. In contrast, the cash bond for the Tagaytay Auction held recently was not refundable.

I was told that a property I own in Quezon City was sold at tax auction in December 2010. How can I check on this?
And I understand, if it was sold, I’m due the balance from the auction,if any, how do I check this?

i participated at the oct. 07 2010 quezon city auction. up to now they have not returned my cash bond of php10,000.00 to this date. i called the accounting unit today and was told that the person signing is unavailable. also, i won 2 properties and paid in full within 24-hours. but the property owners redeemed after a few days. i filed for refund due to redemption on november 19, 2010 and up to now my papers is still at the table of the city treasurer for approval. i spent almost php5,000.00 for various fees. i wonder if other october 07 participant/s had the same experience as mine.
