Hi Jay,
I am interested with one of the foreclosed houses listed. When I inquired, however, I was informed that the house has an occupant and if ever I purchase the house, it will be my duty to “evict” the occupants.
My question is, is there a law out there that would help me, in case I pursue the acquisition, “evict” the occupants? Have you had experience before of such situation?

Hi Jayjay, I believe you will need a “writ of possession” which a sheriff would use to enforce ejectment. I have no first hand experience with ejectment as I would rather avoid occupied properties. I do know that there are other investors out there who have reached a win-win agreement with the former owner, no need for ejectment.
